After last year's success, Be Traced returns to Cortina d'Ampezzo from July 20th to July 23rd to ensure an effective coordination of the race.
Brescia, July 18th, 2023 - The headquarters for technical and sports checks will once again be Hotel Savoia in Cortina d'Ampezzo. 96 teams from 9 countries, including Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Japan, Argentina, and the United States of America, will be at the starting line. Along a 500 km route, there will be two race days amidst the stunning scenery of the Dolomites, with numerous challenges for the competitors to tackle.
As Race Partner, Be Traced will contribute to the event by providing real-time tracking service. All teams will be equipped with GPS devices, allowing constant control of their progress, any stops or assistance requests, and their times in the average special stage. Transmitting this information to the dedicated platform prepared for the Race Direction will enable control over all participants in the event, convoy coordination, and intervention in case of unforeseen events along the route.
The first appointment will be on Thursday, July 20th, with technical and sports checks and the departure ceremony at 6:00 PM from Corso Italia. At the end of the stages on Friday and Saturday, the fourth edition of the Concours d'Élégance will take place on Sunday, where a panel of experts will evaluate the cars, which will be awarded during the final ceremony.
The first stage starts from Cortina towards Passo Giau and Forcella Staulanza, reaching the Dolomiti Friulane, and then returning to Cortina through the wonderful city of Cadore.
The second stage will take place in South Tyrol, passing below Tre Cime and touching San Candido and Dobbiaco. Before returning to Cortina, competitors will face Passi Valparola and Falzarego.
The prize-giving ceremony will be at 7:00 PM on Saturday, July 22nd, and on Sunday, the fourth edition of the Concours d'Élégance of the Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti will take place.
The Coppa d'Oro delle Dolomiti is the fourth event of the ACI Sport's Italian Grand Events Championship, which also includes the Coppa delle Alpi, the historical reenactment of the Coppa Milano Sanremo, the Circuito Stradale del Mugello, the 33rd Gran Premio Nuvolari, and the Targa Florio Classica.
As in the last edition, this year, the public interface of the platform will be available, accessible from any PC, smartphone, or tablet, allowing anyone to enjoy every moment of the race.
