Countdown to the Coppa delle Alpi 2023. The partnership with 1000 Miglia Srl has been renewed

Be Traced will assist the crews and the organization this year too during the 4 days of competition

Brescia, February 27th 2023 – It will kick off on Wednesday March 1st and will open the 2023 Italian Major Events Championship.

78 cars at the start, 1,100 kilometers divided into 4 stages, 90 timed trials and 10 average speed trials.

The Coppa delle Alpi by 1000 Miglia is back again this year with a unique and spectacular route that will wind through the most evocative passes of the Alps. The prologue will be in Brescia on Wednesday 1 March from where the "Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023" Trophy will start at 11:00.

In the late afternoon the official start of the 1st stage will start from Tirano and after the night pass of the Bernina Pass, the day will end in Switzerland, in Saint Moritz. The following day, the stage 2 includes the return to Italy through Lake Resia, the transit in Germany with the Fernpass pass and the arrival in Austria, in the heart of Innsbruck.

The third stage in Italy on the Brennero Pass will begin on Friday, with the passage in front of the three peaks of Lavaredo, a stop at Lake Misurina and a stamp check in Cortina, before crossing the peaks and passes of the Dolomites and ending in Tyrol, in Bressanone. The last stage, on Saturday March 4th, will take place between the Sciliar-Catinaccio Natural Park, Lake Carezza and Passo del Tonale before reaching the final finish line in Bormio.

Be Traced technologies will once again be at the service of the organization this year: each crew and staff vehicle will install a GPS device on their car for real-time tracking and passage times detection on average tests, which will be elaborated by the Federazione Italiana Cronometristi.

The information acquired by the devices and transmitted in real time to the telematic platform developed by Be Traced will be relevant for the Race Direction who will be able to instantly know the position, direction, speed and tracks covered by each crew in the race. In addition to logistical terms, the support will also be in terms of safety: in the event of unforeseen events it will be possible to send an SOS request using the appropriate button on the device which will send a signal to the platform, allowing an immediate rescue intervention by the staff who follows the convoy.

This year too, as for the last edition, it will be possible to access the public version of the platform and remotely follow the crews engaged on the route.
