Real-time tracking and timing solutions exclusively for the organization will enhance the new motor racing experience.
Brescia, August 23rd 2023 - The curtain rises on the first edition of the Superclassica in the Aci Sport calendar for historic and youngtimer cars produced up to 1990, valid for the newly established Italian Championship for Grand Events for Supercars and modern Gran Turismo.
The new regularity race is born from the expertise and experience in the world of regularity of Classic Paddock's CEO & Founder, Roberto Crugnola, who, together with Riccardo Aspesi, has conceived and organized an event full of innovations set in a unique scenario. The backdrop is the Aosta Valley, specifically the beautiful village of Le Salle, which will be the event's headquarters, accreditation location, and the starting and finishing point for the two days of racing.
After the technical and sports checks to be held tomorrow, Friday will see the start of the first stage, followed by the second stage on Saturday. The participating crews will cover almost 500 kilometers, passing through numerous locations, including Courmayeur, Morgex, La Thuile, Aosta, Chatillon, Passo San Carlo, Monte Bianco, and the Gran San Bernardo.
The provision of Be Traced location devices to each crew participating in the event will allow the organization to track and display the entire convoy on a map in real-time and access essential information such as direction, speed, and progress status of each vehicle. This translates into better event management, making it more efficient and secure.
The competitive aspect will also be a highlight of the Cisalpina Classic Race, with over 100 hourly readings, including passage through pressure sensors and average speed tests, the latter managed by Be Traced's timing service, reserved for the Race Directorate. Be Traced's main support includes capturing the passage times of each vehicle in the average speed test sections, data that will be subsequently processed by the Italian Federation of Timekeepers.
Be Traced is the innovative technological platform dedicated to all road motor racing for cars and motorcycles. It is an advanced and flexible solution equipped with all the tools for real-time race and competitor monitoring, telemetry, and timing.
